What better quarantine drink to talk about today than a good ol’ marg?
With.a.twist.
Beer in Marg.
Quite possibly the only way to enjoy a marg these days.
But forreal.
Who knew that a beer in a marg could make it taste so much better?
I love margs, but sometimes the tequila is just too pungent.
So, adding a splash of beer tones down the alcohol a bit and makes the marg super sippable.
Here’s what we use to make ours:
- Tequila
- Marg mix (yes, we buy the pre-mixed stuff)
- Lime juice (just a tad!)
- A splash of beer (your choice – we’ve been using PBR b/c we always seem to have it on hand)
& here’s how we do it:
- Pour 2 shots tequila, 4 oz marg mix, and a tad of lime juice in a shaker (we use our Blender bottle b/c this is us) and shake until well-mixed
- Top with a splash of beer & enjoy!
You really can’t ever go wrong with a marg (definitely my drink of choice), but adding beer made it so much more enjoyable.
